Angela Mathis
President
Angela is the CEO and co-founder of ThinkTank Maths Limited, along with its subsidiary company in Norway. Established in 2007, the organisation enhances engineering and business processes through innovative mathematical frameworks – intelligent engineering software driven by advanced data analysis – to tackle the complexity and uncertainty of industrial challenges linked to the energy transition, including renewables and digital oil and gas.
She served for five years on the Scottish Science Advisory Council (SSAC), advising the Scottish Government on science-related policy and legislation. Angela brings over 35 years of experience in international technology commercialisation.
She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Finance from the Solvay Business School in Brussels, and a Masters with Honours in French and German Language and Literature from the University of Glasgow. A proud Global Scot, Angela has lived and worked for over two decades in Paris, Brussels, Geneva and Freiberg, Germany.
