Tom has 20 years experience working within the energy sector.
He started his career at Wood Mackenzie, covering the UK North Sea before moving into industry; firstly, with BG Group and then with Shell, holding roles across economics, strategy, and M&A. Following Shell, Tom joined Evercore and spent eight years working in its EMEA Energy team. During this time, he focused on advising oil and gas clients across the landscape, from small cap E&Ps to Majors and NOCs; working on multiple M&A transactions as well as debt and equity capital raises, restructuring and shareholder activism defence.
Tom joined the Board of the Scottish Energy Forum in 2024.
