“A Ramble in the Desert – Oil, Money, and Antiquity Stories from Egypt”
with Mike Watts, Managing Director of SOCO International plc

SOCO’s recent entry into the western desert of Egypt provides an opportunity to review the successes of the oil and gas industry in the Eastern Mediterranean, set against a backdrop of the monetary fossil evidence for the most critical period in the history of western civilisation; including assassination, deification, martyrdom, breaking wheels, uncanny portraiture and the world’s greatest love story.

Major event funding provided by Gneiss Energy Limited, Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP, Pinsent Masons LLP, RBC Capital Markets, and members of the Scottish Oil Club. This funding allows the Scottish Oil Club to not charge a fee to participants. We encourage participants to become members of the Scottish Oil Club to contribute to these events.
