Mitch Flegg has over 35 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, including positions at Shell and Enterprise Oil. Mitch first joined Serica in 2006 with responsibility for all drilling and development operations.
He was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer in March 2011 and appointed to the Board of Serica in 2012. He left Serica in May 2015 to become Chief Executive Officer of AIM-listed Circle Oil plc. Mitch re-joined the Board of Serica in November 2017 as Chief Executive Officer and has been instrumental in driving the company’s performance which sees it currently providing over 5% of the UK’s domestic gas supply and becoming a key player in the UK’s Energy Transition plans.
